ICAR – Indian Institute of Rice Research (IIRR), Hyderabad has advertised a notification for the recruitment of Research Associate(RA), Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Technical Assistant (TA), Senior Research Fellow (SRF), & Young Professional II vacancies purely on the temporary/ contractual basis. Vacancy Details - Indian Institute of Rice Research Recruitment 2017:

1. DBT India - IRRI Network project entitled "Marker assisted introgression of different traits to develop new generation rice varieties":

Name of the Posts:

A. Research Associate: 01 Post

Emoluments (Salary): 36,000/- Per month + HRA

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess Ph. D in Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics.

B. Junior Research Fellow: 01 Post

Emoluments (Salary): 25,000/- Per month + HRA

Educational Qualification:

Post Graduation Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Plant Molecular Biology or Post Graduation in basic sciences (Biotechnology/ Plant Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Botany) with NET qualification.

C. Technical Assistant: 01 Post

Emoluments (Salary): 8,000/- Per month (Fixed)

Educational Qualification: Graduation in Life Science with experience in rice research.

2. National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA):

A. Research Associate: 01 Post

Emoluments (Salary): 36,000/- Per month + HRA for Master's Degree Holders and Rs.40, 000/- per month + HRA for Doctoral Degree Holders

Educational Qualification:

Ph. D Degree in Life Sciences/ Plant Physiology/ Pant Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Genetics or Masters Degree with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor Degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience with evidence.

B. Senior Research Fellow: 05 Posts

Emoluments (Salary): 28,000/- Per month + HRA

Educational Qualification:

Master Degree in Agriculture from a recognized and reputed University with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor Degree with NET, Specialization in Life Sciences/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Plant Physiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Botany/ Entomology or related life sciences.

3. ICAR Project "NPTC (Functional Genomics of Iron & Zinc):

A. Young Professional II: 01 Post

Emoluments (Salary): 25,000/- Per month (Fixed)

Educational Qualification:

Postgraduates in Agricultural Science or M.sc. in Life Sciences or Biotechnology/Genetics & PI Breeding

4. Evolution of 1000 germplasm accessions for their reaction to brown plant hopper in the IIRR green house:

A. Technical Assistant: 01 Post

Emoluments (Salary): 10,000/- Per month (Fixed)

Educational Qualification: Any Degree from a recognized university.

Total No. of Posts: 12 (Twelve)

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 40 years for men and 45 years for women for RA, 35 years for men and 40 years for women for SRF/ JRF/ Technical Assistant/ Young Professional II. Age relaxation is admissible 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PH Candidates as per rules.
