Central Railway Recruitment 2017 – Walk in for Part-time Contract Teacher Posts: 

Central Railway has published notification for the recruitment of Part-time Contract Teacher (Group C) vacancies on contract basis for the academic year 2017-2018. Eligible candidates may walk in interview on 30-06-2017 at 10:00 A.M. to 17:30 P.M.

About Central Railway:

Central Railway is one of the 16 zones of Indian Railways. Its headquarters is in Mumbai at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. It has the distinction of operating first passenger railway line in India, which opened from Mumbai to Thane on 16 April 1853.

The railway zone was formed on 5 November 1951 by grouping several government-owned railways, including the Great Indian Peninsula Railway, the Scindia State Railway of the former princely state of Gwalior, Nizam State Railway, Wardha Coal State Railway and the Dholpur Railways. The Central Railway zone formerly included large parts of Madhya Pradesh and part of southern Uttar Pradesh, which made it the largest railway zone in India in terms of area, track mileage, and staff. These areas became the new West Central Railway zone in April 2003. The Central Railway General Manager's official residence (erstwhile GIPR agent's residence) 'Glenogle'-a Grade II-B heritage bungalow, is located on Bhausaheb Hire Marg(Mount Pleasant Road), adjacent to the Maharashtra Chief minister's official residence 'Varsha' in Malabar Hill, Mumbai.

1. P.G Teacher (Economic): 01 Post

2. P.G Teacher (Business Studies): 01 Post

3. P.G Teacher (English): 01 Post

4. PGT for Hindi: 01 Post

5. TGT for English: 01 Post

6. PRT: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 – 65 years as on 30-06-2017.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.A (Economic), B.Ed for Sl No. 01, M.Com, B.Ed for Sl No. 02, M.A (Engish), B.Ed for Sl No. 03, M.A Hindi, B.Ed for Sl. No. 04, B.A (Arts) Preference with English literature & CTET for Sl No. 05 & B.A.D.Ed for Sl No. 06 with relevant experience.

The Scale of Pay (Consolidated Monthly Pay in Rupees):

Post No. 1 – Rs. 27,500/-

Post No. 2 – Rs. 27,500/-

Post No. 3 – Rs. 27,500/-

Post No. 4 – Rs. 27,500/-

Post No. 5 – Rs. 26,250/-

Post No. 6 – Rs. 21,250/-

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the interview.

Schedule of Walk-in Interview:

A) Interview Schedule: 30.06.2017

B) Time: 10.00A.M to 17.30.P.M.

C) Post of Interview: PG Teacher, TGT, and PGT.

D) Venue: In the chamber of Principal Central Rly Sec (EM) School & Jr. College Kalyan

Note:

The interview will be conducted on next day, if not completed on the assigned date.

The Candidates should come prepared to stay in Mumbai for a minimum period of 3 days for Viva. This may be extended depending on the response of the candidates to Notification and for completion of all formalities. No accommodation shall be provided for the candidates for interview.
