Tezpur University Requirement 2017 - JRF Post, Direct Walk in Interview

Walk in Interview Date: 16.06.2017

A walk-in-interview will be held on 16 June 2017 at 10.00 a.m. at the Office of the Head, Department of Chemical Sciences, Tezpur University for one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DBT, Govt. of India sponsored project entitled “Studies on structure & dynamics of antisense molecules: Capability building for advanced research” under Dr. Ramesh Ch. Deka (ramesh@tezu.ernet.in), Professor, Department of Chemical Sciences, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam - 784028, Assam

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Biosciences/ Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate. Candidate with NET will get preference.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty-five thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month for the 1st two years and Rs. 28,000/- (Rupees twenty-eight thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month for the 3rd year for SRF and applicable to the candidate having post graduate degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or post graduate degree in a professional course. Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees twelve thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month for the 1st two years and Rs. 14,000/- (Rupees fourteen thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month for the 3rd year for SRF, for the candidate without NET qualification. HRA will not be provided if campus accommodation is availed.

Duration: Three years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Age Limit: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

How to Apply: Interested candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), certificates of NET, any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the day of interview
