APSC Recruitment 2017 – 353 Asst Professor, Lecturer & Other Posts: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has published notification for the recruitment of 353 Assistant Professor (Technical), Assistant Professor (Non Technical), Librarian, Lecturer (Technical), Lecturer (Non-Technical) & Senior Instructor vacancies at State Engineering Colleges and Polytechnics of Assam under Higher Education (Tech.) Department. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 27-06-2017 during office hours.

6. Librarian in Polytechnics of Assam: 11 Posts
7. Senior Instructor: 61 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 21 – 43 years as on 01-01-2017. Age relaxation is applicable to 05 years for SC/ ST (P)/ ST(H) candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Bio-Medical Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Tele Communication Engineering/ Printing Technology Engineering/ Industrial& Production Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Mechanical (Automobile) Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering with Automobile Engineering or IC Engine as one of the subject with First class or equivalent. If the candidate has a Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology, First Class or equivalent required at Bachelor’s or Master’s Level for Post No. 04, Good Academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master Degree Level in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ English/ Commerce with NET/ SLET/ SET cleared and/or PhD. Degree awarded in accordance with the UGC Regulation, 2009 for Post No. 05, Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library and Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC for Post No. 06 with relevant experience. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test/ interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application with Self attested photocopies of Certificate/ Mark Sheet from HSLC onwards and also Caste Certificate/ Registration Certificate/ Experience Certificate (where necessary) and 01 copy of recent photograph should be pasted on the application in an envelope should be superscribed with “name of the post applied for” to the Commission’s office, Assam Public Service Commission on or before 27-06-2017 during office hours.
