State Child
Protection Society, Assam invites application for appointment of Chairperson
and Members of Child Welfare Committees (CWC) and Social Workers of Juvenile
Justice Boards (JJB) of Assam under JJ Act 2015. In cancellation of the
previous advertisement published in daily newspapers regarding invitation of
application for selection of Chairperson and Members for CWC and Social Workers
/ Members for JJBs vide memo no. SCPS (G)20/ 2010/Pt1/273 dated 12/11/2015.
This advertisement is hereby made inviting fresh application in Standard Form
along with all supportive testimonials from interested eligible candidates for
filling up of vacancies as follows:

Required Qualification and other details:
1. Age: The Social Worker (JJB) and
Members (CWC) shall be persons who are not less than 35 years and not more than
65 years of age.
2. Educational qualification: Preferably a Post Graduate in Social work,
Education, Psychology, Psychiatry or Human Development or in the field of Law
or retired Judicial officer.
3. Experience: At least 7 (seven) years experience of working with Children in
the field of Education, Health or Welfare activities.
4. Remuneration: The Social Workers or Members shall be paid Rs.1,000/- (Rupees
One Thousand) only per sitting as travel, sitting & conveyance allowance.
How to apply: Applicants
shall submit application with details testimonials (with a self declaration
certificate which to be collect from respective District Child Protection
Officer) within 25/04/2017 during office hours.
Note: The
applications received in the respective districts will be scrutinized by
District Level Scrutiny Committee (DLSC) and the panel list of shortlisted
candidates from DLSC will be placed before the State Level Selection Committee
(SLSC) constituted under Rule 87 of Central Model JJ Rule, 2015 for final
approval. The SLSC will have the power to reject applications and any
recommendations made by DLSC as and when required.
