Apply Online for 2939 Teacher Posts: Government of Assam, Directorate of Elementary Education Assam has announced a notification for the recruitment of 2939 Teacher (Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher, Hindi Teacher, Arabic Teacher) vacancies in Upper Primary Schools. Eligible candidates may apply online from 08-04-2017 to 30-04-2017.

1. Assistant Teacher: 1129 Posts

2. Science Teacher: 161 Posts

3. Hindi Teacher: 1473 Posts

4. Arabic Teacher: 176 Posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation Degree from the UGC recognized University and UP TET with Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. / D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education) for Post 1, B.Sc. Degree from the UGC recognized University and UP TET qualified in Science and Mathematics stream & Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed./ D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education) for Post 2, Graduation Degree from the UGC recognized University having Hindi as one of the subjects and UP TET & Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed./ D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education) for Post 3, Graduation Degree from the UGC recognized University having Arabic as one of the subjects and UP TET & Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed./ D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education) for Post 4.

Age Limit: Candidates age is not less than 18 years and not more than 43 years as on 01-01-2016. Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST (P), ST (H) and PH candidates as per the Govt. of Assam.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 200/- (Rs. 150/- for SC, ST(P), ST(H) candidates and free for BPL candidates) in the form of Indian Postal Order in the name of Director of Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati- 19.
